South Bucks is London’s back garden
Amersham, Beaconsfield, Gerrards Cross and Marlow are commuter towns with bigger homes and bigger projects. People there research before they call, and they’re often comparing several trades at once.

Before you pay for more leads or advertising, find out whether the website you already own could be doing more.
I help builders, kitchen fitters, plumbers, electricians, roofers and other trades across Buckinghamshire get found by the people already searching for them. The work is done remotely.
Before you spend more on ads or leads, it's worth knowing whether your own website is pulling its weight.
I'll check what Google, Bing and AI tools can find on your website and tell you the 2–3 things most likely to be costing you work.
No login · No website access · No card · No call needed
The check is free. If I find something worth fixing, I'll include what it would cost with your results.
North and south Bucks are very different places, and people search that way.
Real searches look like these. Your website needs to give Google and AI tools something to match them to.
Amersham, Beaconsfield, Gerrards Cross and Marlow are commuter towns with bigger homes and bigger projects. People there research before they call, and they’re often comparing several trades at once.
Around Buckingham, Winslow and the villages of the Vale of Aylesbury, a trade might cover a wide area. People search for their village or the nearest market town, so your website needs to name them.
Much of the county is in the Chilterns National Landscape, with period cottages, flint walls and planning to think about. If that's work you do well, give it its own page. That's what people look for.
Milton Keynes is in Buckinghamshire on the map but has its own council, and people search for it by name. If you work there, say so. If you don't, make sure your website doesn't suggest you do.
Don't see your town? It doesn't matter. Everything's done online, so I can help wherever you are in Buckinghamshire.
More: how the free check works · website services · rough costs · free guides · about me
It relied on word of mouth and had no real online presence. I built all of it myself: the website, the service and area pages, a large library of helpful guides, the technical setup and the routes to an enquiry.
It now gets consistent enquiries without paying for advertising.
Whether your profile is complete, matches your website, and has the right categories and service area for where you work.
Whether your website is in Bing. ChatGPT, for example, uses Bing, so if Bing can’t see you, some AI answers may not either.
Whether Google Analytics is set up and counting the things that matter: calls, quote requests and where they came from.
Whether the pages people land on would turn a visit into an enquiry, before you pay for more clicks or leads.
Clear pages or sections for the towns you want work in, from High Wycombe and Marlow to Aylesbury and Buckingham.
A proper page for each high-value job, like extensions, kitchens or loft conversions, so people researching them find you.
Most of what holds a website back can be fixed on the one you have. I'll tell you the 2–3 things that matter most. If they're worth fixing, I'll say what it would cost. You decide.
Website Clarity is just me, so I only take on a couple of implementation projects at a time.
If you're not sure whether your website is actually helping bring in work, I'll take a look.
This isn't an instant automated score. I'll run the checks, review what comes back and send you the 2–3 things I'd tackle first. Usually within 2–3 working days.
Ads can bring in work, but you pay for every click, and it stops when you stop paying.
It's worth knowing first whether the website people land on is ready for them. That's what the free check tells you.
Fewer people search on Bing directly, but some AI tools use it. ChatGPT, for example, uses Bing to find websites.
If Bing hasn’t picked up your pages, you can be missing from answers you never see.
Name the towns you actually work in, whichever county they’re in, and give the main ones a page or section of their own.
People search by town, not by county line.
You get the 2–3 things that matter most, with what I found and how you can see it for yourself.
If they're worth fixing, I'll say what it would cost. Nothing happens unless you decide you want it.
